Who we are

Cara Kovarik M.S., CCC-SLP, CBIS is a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist in New York and New Jersey with extensive experience in evaluating and treating swallowing, speech, language, cognitive, and voice disorders across various medical settings. With a Master’s degree in Communicative Sciences and Disorders from New York University, Cara has worked with diverse patient populations, including individuals with traumatic brain injuries, stroke survivors, Parkinson’s Disease, and those with neurodegenerative diseases.

Cara's expertise spans cognitive rehabilitation, dysphagia management, gender-affirming voice, and speech and language services. Dedicated to evidence-based practice and patient-centered care, Cara brings a wealth of knowledge and a compassionate approach to her private practice.

In her private practice, Cara focuses on providing personalized, high-quality care tailored to each individual's unique needs, helping patients improve their communication, cognitive, and swallowing abilities.
